photographing, cooking, laughing through life

Well, today was the last day of VBS 2011. As we have for the last several years, we ended our Vacation Bible School by going down to Soden’s Grove where the kids got to sing, play, make crafts, ride the train, visit the zoo, and eat some lunch. They also wore their tie-dye t-shirts – and I have to say, they turned out pretty great!

Today’s first picture is a picture of one of our youngest participants this year. Sebastian is about one of the cutest kids you will ever meet. He was watching intently as the other kids were doing the actions for the songs. Such an adorable kid!

Can you say cute?

Of course we did a craft today and that craft was decorating lanterns by scratching off black to reveal a color underneath.  Of course the littlest kids spent approximately 5 seconds with theirs – then the 5 year olds wanted to scratch off ALL of their black, and finally the oldest kids kind of did a combination of the two.  I think they enjoyed the crafts this week – at least I hope they did!

Craft time!
