Junior class fundraiser brings back memories. #28

Everyone’s college years are full of tons of great memories, and it is nice when something from the past suddenly shows up and reminds me of something from college. Well, today, that was just the case.  Every year the junior class spends a day at one of the local grocery stores decorating cakes as part of a fundraiser. However, this year it wasn’t cakes it was big cookies!

Oasis getting creative with a Cookie Monster cookie

Flashback about a decade ago…Every football game we would get our tailgate supplies and we would always get a big cookie at Dillons to have as our dessert at the tailgate. They always had ones decorated with purple that we would get…and we even ordered some special ones for certain games. Every time I see a big cookie I am transported back to the parking lots at the stadium.

So, of course when I picked out my cookie from the juniors, it had to be a K-State one! Too bad I’m not headed to a football game with some great friends to enjoy the cookie!
