The agony of defeat hits home…#62

Today was the sub-state championship at Seaman High School – our second Friday in a row at SHS and our second Friday in a row coming home disappointed.  After beating Highland Park (the number 5 team in 5A) two times during the regular season, it was time for (#4 team in 5A) EHS to take on the Scots again.  After getting off to a slow start there wasn’t much the Spartans could do to get back in the game – although they kept fighting.  Tonight’s photo is the student section (who did a great job and were loud and supportive throughout) reacting to a non-call by the referees…the different facial expressions tell the story. What a great season by the Spartans, just too bad we don’t get to play some more.

Great expressions. I was glad the students got involved at the sub state level. That’s what makes the games more fun…
