Sonic Summer of Slush #5 – Atomic Lemon
I’ve always been a fan of the light, lemony taste of the Sonic Real Lemon slush – it’s one of my favorites. When I saw the Atomic Lemon flavor on the menu – I was a little nervous at how sour it might be…and today was the day for me to test it out. I’ve got to tell you…it was way better than I expected.
I’m really not big into SOUR flavors – and this hit the right note between sweet and sour. The first sip was kind of a surprise – it was sour to begin with, but then it finished with more of a sweet flavor. It was actually kind of like eating a Lemonhead. Much more powerful for the tastebuds than the real lemon slush, but it was definitely refreshing and something that I will probably order again.
